Saturday, September 18
In the afternoon, we’ll probably be holding court at Casa Bonita. We’d love for you to join us. Please heed our advice, though: consider the mandatory meal you purchase at Casa Bonita the price of your admission — a ticket to the wonders inside. Do not feel pressured to eat the food. The food is not good. We don’t want anyone sick on Sunday.
Saturday night, let’s have drinks and/or dinner at The Corner Office, which is on the first floor of the Curtis Hotel (Curtis & 14th Street). We’re just going to wing the wedding itself, so we’re not going to practice doing it ahead of time. Hence, no rehearsal. Therefore, no rehearsal dinner. But we would love for everyone to gather in the same place and enjoy some good, eclectic food and drink in a swanky, office-romance-themed environment conveniently located downstairs from where many of us will be spending the night.
7:00 pm – Come on out to The Corner Office for dinner, drinks, mingling, what-have-you. We reserved their Executive Office private dining suite.
Later that evening – Adam’s sister Jennifer is throwing a party! Drop by The Curtis’s Hopscotch Room on the second floor for some live music courtesy of Jennifer & Mike, and enjoy some coffee and dessert.
Sunday, September 19
Some of you will be sent to the King Sooper to buy flower arrangements. Some of you may have to go to the airport to pick up members of your party who are arriving late. Some of you may choose to sightsee or explore the wonder and majesty that is Colorado. Some of you may still be in jail because we asked you to get arrested in hopes of running into Dog the Bounty Hunter and inviting him and Beth to the wedding. Do what you have to do.
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm Feel free to make your way on over to the City Park Pavilion (here’s a map). We’ll have a pre-ceremony get-together. Refreshments provided.
5:30pm Probably ought to be at City Park by now. The ceremony is about to start.
6:00pm – Reception begins! Make your way across the park to the Museum of Nature & Science (another map), where we will party until the dawn. And by “the dawn,” we mean, “when they kick us out at 11:00.”
11:00pm – The party moves to the After Party, location TBD. After the party, it’s the hotel lobby, and you know how it goes from there.
